So says Michael Kors to the seemingly dejected designer ... but proportion, well it really is tough. It comes in so many shapes and sizes , it can be one thing today and something completely different tomorrow ...
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if everyone were made to be the same, if proportion were no longer an issue. If suddenly we could dissect our world and parse it out into neat little tidy packages. What would we have then? I feel like we're heading that way, homogenizing and marginalizing with reckless abandon. Natural selection is hard at work, to keep variety in the population, but we, we are swimming upstream towards something that is so alike the thing next to it they are indistinguishable. Is it because in order to be considered 'put together' your proportion has to be just right ...
Where have we hidden our individuality?
