That's the only word that comes to mind when I look at my spelling these days. You'd be hardpressed to believe that 1) I actually went to college and 2) I got a minor in English!
I've been redding up my desk for the last few days. Out with the old in with the new and have repeatedly come across drafts of manuscripts and what-not that look like a 6 year old was the primary author ... what does this mean? Maybe I'm getting less smart or something ...

Laundry day
It's laundry day, a day I both love and loath ... especially since I made a realization recently about the status of my laundry basket and the status of my emotional health. Whenever I get to the 'I'm wearing the last pair of clean pants I own' stage - something's up.
Case in point, today I got up and went searching around the many piles of clothes that live on my floor in various stages of cleanliness ... you've got the totally clean pile, the slighty clean pile (by slightly clean I mean that most of the grease smudges are in inconspicuous places and therfore I can get away with one more go) and the not so clean pile - aka totally covered in bike grease and grime. So there I am, kicking piles around and it dawns on me - nothing, except the new jeans I just acquired in a clothing swap with friends the night before are clean ... crap .... and then it hits me, not only are my clothes all soiled but so is my disposition ... and the sun's jsut come back to us! Would a trip around the lake fix me up? An iced americano? Maybe some cookies ....

Everbody's doing it ...
It seems like everyone I know these days blogs, reads blogs, has a blog they want you to read ... personally I'm still attached to my journals ... all of them ... but in this age of instant gratification and since I probably never will have time to organize those journals into any semblance of an order worthy of personal memoir I offer up the following posts for cyberspace's approval. I probably won't be interesting and if you're looking for juicy tidbits and secret stories you probably won't find much of those either ... but! if you get as bored as I do during the hours of 9am and 5pm when most of us should be doing something other than writing blogs, reading blogs and suggesting to others what blogs they should be reading than you just might find this fun ...
